Sign in using your Google or GitHub account, then create an encryption password. This password encrypts all your TOTP secrets locally before they're stored in the cloud. Add your first 2FA account by entering the secret key from the service you want to protect.
Click "Add New Key" in the dashboard or extension popup. Enter a name for the account (like "GitHub" or "Gmail") and paste the secret key provided by the service. The secret is usually shown as a text code when you enable 2FA, often near a QR code.
Once your vault is unlocked, right-click on any 2FA input field on a website. Select "Easy Auth" from the menu, then choose the account you need. The 6-digit code will be automatically filled into the field.
Your encryption password never leaves your device. We use it to derive a cryptographic key (via PBKDF2 with 600,000 iterations) that encrypts your TOTP secrets with AES-256-GCM. Only the encrypted data is sent to our servers - we physically cannot see your secrets.
Install Easy Auth on your other device (web app or Chrome extension), sign in with the same Google or GitHub account, and enter your encryption password. Your encrypted keys sync automatically and are decrypted locally on your new device.
We typically respond within 24-48 hours during business days.
